Number Flaps

Number Flaps to 10
This activity is designed for teachers to use with young children to develop number bonds to 10.

The flaps should be folded to allow the spots on one side or the other to be covered up. This allow you to ask questions such as, 'How many spots are covered?'.

Number Flaps to 20
This set contains the 11 flaps which range from 10+10 to 20+0. The spots have been grouped in the boxes to emphasise counting in fives. They have also been arranged towards the top or bottom of a box to allow children to see the complements.

You might like to cut up a set of number flaps for use in matching activities.
